Let me just start off with how sweet this couple is. We were so excited when Whitney asked us to be their photographer. Whitney is one of those girls who can wear anything and look amazing in it. Marco is from Waxahachie and so they wanted to have their engagement pictures taken there. They were such a fun couple to take pictures of and great tour guides of the town. Marco’s dad owns a local barber shop so we started here and ended there with a fresh Dr. Pepper from a old school coke machine. We would love to be flies on the wall in this place when it is open. We can just imagine all the stories that are told in this place with men sitting around getting their hair cut sipping on a Dr. Pepper. We absolutely love the feel of a small town. Thanks Marco for sharing that with us! Even though we had never shot here before and didn’t know our surroundings, we had a great time and found some great spots. We think it is now one of our favorite places to shoot. The downtown area was your classic old downtown square, which was so fun to capture. While Marco and Whitney were changing clothes, a local man asked us what we were doing and then told us we had to go to the Historic Rogers hotel and take some pictures. This hotel was amazing but at the same time a little spooky, but what fun we had in here! We hope you enjoy some of the shots we captured.
