Rachel and I have been friends since I was five years old. We have grown up together, had happy times, experienced hard times, seen each other get married and have children. She has been a wonderful friend and it has been a joy to go through life with her. So, when she asked me to take pictures of her and her family, I of course said yes. This family is so sweet and I am beyond blessed to be a part of their lives and now see her children grow up.

One of my friend’s just recently had her third child and asked us to take new born pictures. Nate is such a cutie and was wide awake the majority of the shoot. Kristen wanted a picture of all three of her kids together but this was more difficult than she planned. When one kid wanted their picture another didn’t but with a little magic called bribing we were able to get a few shots of all three of the kids! We absolutely love this family and are so blessed to be their friends!

My best friend Jamie and her family had me take their family portrait for their Christmas card again this year. She always cracks me up because she doubts her outfit choices and color options, but they are always great. She wanted to have green trees so we found a park in Sunnyvale that actually had Christmas trees. There was also one section that had horse apples all on the ground, which matched and went with their outfits perfectly! We had to be careful because it was a little muddy, but we managed to keep clean for the most part! The location was great and one I think I will use again.

My best friend asked to have her family portraits done so we met up at SMU’s campus. We knew it would be green and beautiful and sure enough it was. We had a great time walking around the campus and capturing this beautiful family. We love you guys and are so blessed to have you as friends.
