We were so excited and blessed to have Haley and Nick ask us to be their wedding photographers. Haley is the kind of girl who knows what she wants and does anything to make that happen. She wanted a DIY “do it yourself” wedding, and she pulled it off so well. One of my favorite things was the candy buffet bar she made for the guests. We even captured her sneaking some candy during the reception!! We both started off at the NYLO hotel and right when we drove up, I feel in love. It was a warehouse feel and I knew it was a place to capture great shots. Later Brandon went on to the chapel to meet up with the guys and I stayed back with Haley and her bridesmaids. Haley’s bridesmaids were so fun and caring. Right when they arrived at the hotel you could just tell how close their friendship was. It melted my heart in how much these girls cared and took care of Haley. Haley you are truly blessed with wonderful friends and family.

Aaron and Amy found out about us through a friend of ours. It is so nice to be referred by friends, it really means a lot to us and we are so grateful to have wonderful friends who recommend us to others. When we first met Aaron and Amy it was like we had known each other for years. Our conversations were so relaxed and easy. They shared how they met and this cracked us up. Aaron described how they met but Amy had to jump in and add more details. They went back and forth and described it as if we were actually there and didn’t miss a beat. They are so cute together and so very much in love. We loved getting to know them and capturing their wedding day. Amy is very crafty and made so many amazing things for her wedding. She is talented and it showed in all the details that day. She had gorgeous green umbrellas for the ladies to sit under during the ceremony since it was pretty warm and sunny that day. Her display for these umbrellas was so cute and well done. The ceremony and reception was beautiful and we wish them all the best.

Preston is Brandon’s brother so when he got engaged we were so thrilled to be able to take some engagement pictures of him and his beautiful fiance Rachel. Preston and Rachel met in college at the University of Iowa. It is crazy to believe he will be getting married in June of 2011. When Brandon and I started dating Preston was in the 6th grade. Although he has grown up and is now engaged, I could not ask for a better bride to be for him than Rachel. She is beautiful from the inside out, loves the Lord and loves Preston. Taking pictures of them was easy for us because they are great at showing their affection for each other and we were able to capture them being natural and in love. Since Brandon will be in the wedding and our daughter will be their flower girl we won’t be the photographers, but we are excited to be apart of this special day. We love you both so very much and are blessed to have Rachel join our family.

We love this family and so taking pictures of Hunter was nothing but fun and entertaining for us. Hunter is graduating from Mesquite High School and plans to go to Medical School to become a doctor. He is so smart and we know he will do a great job and work hard towards his goals. Not only is he smart but he is down to earth and so fun to be around. How he and his parents interact together makes me excited for my daughter to be a teenager, which is so scary for me to even think about since she is only 20 months old. However, this family loves the Lord and because of that, their love for each other as a family is amazing to see and experience. Hunter and his mom Patty are hilarious and kept us laughing the entire day. Hunter we wish you all the best and know you will be a great doctor one day!
